On the heels of getting inducted into the Rock n Roll of fame, the band brought their 50th anniversary tour to the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA. You immediately knew that you were at a heavy metal show when everywhere that you looked you saw battle jackets new and old. Queensryche opened up the show and the people showed up for this classic Heavy Metal band that needed no introduction. Todd delivering those high pitched vocals that made you feel chills down your spine. Playing songs that covered every part of their discography made for a enjoyable show for new and old fans.

As the remaining people began to fill the stadium and the stage began to assemble and unveil itself, everyone knew what was to happen next. With everyone singing along to War Pigs as it is  playing throughout the arena, you can fill the energy rise and anticipation build. As the giant, lit Judas Priest cross raises up above Rob Halford, they immediately hit the ground running  with the heavy hitting “ Electric Eye “. The night was filled with nothing but hits and without question deserving of their induction because of their impact they have had on metal being one of the most influential bands ever. Playing songs like “ You’ve got another thing coming “ , “ Screaming for Vengeance “ , and “ Breaking the Law “. Richie Faulkner gracing the stage with his power stances and guitar shredding that cements him as one of the best guitar players in the metal world.

Rob didn’t just return for the encore but graced the stage on his motorcycle for the song “ Hell Bent for Leather “ while dressed in leather from head to toe. Being a band for 50 years has not stopped these heavy metal legends from putting on the best possible show that they could put on. From Rob Halford’s hair raising screams to Richie’s technical guitar playing the band sounded tighter than ever . What a great time to be a Priest fan, so do yourself a favor and catch these Metal Gods before it is too late.
