CHILDREN UNDER 9 YEARS FREE
Tons of Rock practices a free age limit in the festival area. Young children must be with a parent / guardian at all times, and they must be protected from loud noises. Children under 9 enter free of charge, but must be registered in advance.

Visibly intoxicated persons with small children inside the festival area will not be accepted and will be taken care of by professional personnel.

We take the safety of children seriously and therefore ask you to remember the following:
Hearing protection for children
Sunscreen
Extra change of clothes
Make sure your child gets enough fluids

We really appreciate and want to motivate the next generation of rockers, but Tons of Rock is essentially a party for the adults. We ask that you use common sense when it comes to alcohol and intoxication around the children and that the children should be placed with a babysitter before the evening comes.
All children under 9 years of age are admitted free of charge.

All children under 9 years of age and their parent or guardian must register in advance on a separate form. Register your child here!

DISABILITY SERVICE / ACCOMPANYING
Tons of Rock works actively to ensure that everyone who wants to can participate in the festival. We do this by ensuring that the area is adapted and by giving free entry to companions on presentation of a companion certificate. If you want to bring a companion to the festival, it must be registered via a separate form. Register a companion form here!

Choose which band / ticket you have so that the companion gets the same as you. If you have a VIP ticket, the attendant will also receive it. Picture of accompanying certificate must be uploaded in the form.

If you are going to have different companions on the different days, you must let us know. If the companion is changed from day to day, he must get a new band in the accreditation booth every day. Both you and your companion must be present when you pick up the tape.

HOW TO GET TO THE FESTIVAL

BUS & TRAFFIC:
There will be a direct bus service from Jernbanetorget/Oslo S and up to Ekebergsletta. This is the easiest way to get to the festival. The festival is within walking distance from the bus stop, and will be signposted. It will also be possible to take bus 74, tram 19 or 13 to the stop jomfrubråten or Sportsplassen. You can also take bus 23 to Simensbråten if you are traveling along ring 3. Tickets and timetables can be found in the Ruter app.

At the end of the festival every night, Ruter stops by shuttle buses just outside the main entrance at Ekebergveien, and unloads you safely down to Jernbanetorget. If you have a valid Router ticket, you will receive a ride.

FLY:
If you are coming to Gardermoen by plane, you can take an air train or regional train from Gardermoen to Oslo S. This takes approx. 20 minutes. You can also take a bus up to the festival area from Jernbanetorget.

TRAIN:
If you are traveling by train, it is best to travel to Oslo S and take a bus further up to the festival area from Jernbanetorget.

CAR:
We have no parking available for our festival participants. We encourage everyone to use public transport.
For handicap parking, contact billett@tonsofrock.no to buy a parking space.
Tons of Rock makes collaboration with routes!

Ruter is upgrading its bus service and doubling the departures with bus 34 in the direction of Ekeberg Hageby and the festival area, and during the festival we would recommend everyone to use bus 34 from Jernbanetorget up to the bus stop 'Simensbråten'. This is the easiest and most flexible way to get to the festival.

At the end of the festival every evening, Ruter provides shuttle buses just outside the main entrance at Ekebergveien, and drops you safely down to Jernbanetorget/centre. If you have a valid route ticket, you will get a ride.

Tickets are purchased via Ruter.no either with Ruter's app or travel card.

BECOME A BLOOD DONOR @ TONS OF ROCK

Over 9,000 Tons of Rock audience members chose to become blood donors as a result of Tons of Rock's campaign together with the Red Cross in 2022. This means that 1/3 of all blood donors in Norway in 2022 are recruited through the Tons of Rock campaign.

To all those who can, keep on GIVING BLOOD!
Blood cannot be made, it must be given.

HISTORIC AND LIFE-SAVING RESULTS OF A BLOODY COLLABORATION.

"Together with Norway's biggest rock and metal festival, we set a goal to recruit 6666 new blood donors in 2022 and the results are overwhelming.

We needed blood donors and Tons of Rock had the best blood fans in the country. The campaign has exceeded all expectations and figures show that the festival has recruited over 9000 new blood donors. This means that one in three new donors are Tons of Rock blood fans.

Blood cannot be made - it has to be given. This collaboration is unique" - Dipin Gubta Red Cross

FROM TONS OF ROCK

"Never before has bloody seriousness been more fun! When we got the final result of the campaign with over 9,000 people signed up, we almost fell to the ground. The collaboration with the Red Cross and the Blood Bank has been incredibly rewarding and motivating in an everyday life and worldview characterized by seriousness. Blood is needed everywhere, be it for cancer patients, accidents, Gene Simmons or Mayhem and we are proud and happy to have been able to contribute in our way!"

- Mads Martinsen, Tons Of Rock
