Well the Vancouver show was so amazing I had to see another, "Don't Judge Me", when you have a great band, (HYPOCRISY) that puts on such a phenomenal show, you want more.  This show just happens to have been better for sound and lighting, that makes a huge difference for visual enjoyment.  Again, they played an array of songs, they did Weed out the Weak and play almost one per album, but they did play three off their new album "Worship", "Children of the Gray" which happens to be my favourite, "Chemical Whore" plus the self titled song. They executed every song to perfection, and you know this is not "The Final Chapter" of Hypocrisy, it is always a wait for them to return, but they really make the wait worthwhile. I for one am thrilled that they did what they had to to get over to North American and give their fans what they had longed for. Peters vocals are unmistakable and spot on, and his guitar work just amazing, don't know how he does both at the same time, but he has been doing it for a long time. Tomas, a guitarist that puts those riffs out there in death metal style. Mikael, bassist, who has been with Hypocrisy since the very beginning, has the thundering sound you hear in your chest. There is a new person this tour behind the kit, and his name is Henrik Axelsson, who played in bands Implode and Soils of Fate, and since 2014 the drummer for The Crown. I was very impressed that he had all those songs down and performed them to perfection. Tonight they brought "The Fire From The Sky" to Seattle, and they nailed it, they each are so talented in what they do, bring to us the best of the best. There are some tour dates left, make sure you get out there and see them perform, it truly is something to see. I for one will be a fan "Until The End".

Next up is CARACH ANGREN, the Horror symphonic black metal band, if you haven't seen them you should, in their style of orchestral arrangements, death metal vocals, guitar riffs, with some thundering drum blasts, they will leave you wanting more. They have a new live drummer this time around as well, his name is Michiel van der Plicht, and did a fantastic job at the kit. They have your attention right from the start, they all have face paint, horror style, and Seregor fronts this band so well, you just have to watch him with those haunting eyes looking out at you.  Ardek on keyboards is a master at his work, with a grim look watching out over everyone. Plus the butcher himself Bastiaan Boh ruling on stage with his guitar riffs. Put this all together and you have an amazing set of great music with visual appeal. They played a good range of their songs which pleased the crowd.  I never miss these guys either, and neither should you.

THE AGONIST, a Canadian melodic death metal band from Montreal, Quebec takes the stage next. They started back in 2004 and have been playing many shows. The crowd looked like they really enjoyed them too. Great reactions from the crowd pumps the band, and they give it their all to the fans. They have travelled a long way for this tour, and sadly they keep running into issues with their motorhome, but they do what they need to and get to the show to play their music for you. Dedication for sure. They played a great set, and Vicky sure looked like she was enjoying every minute up there. I enjoyed their set a lot, and I just want to thank you for such preserverance. The opener is HIDEOUS DIVINITY, a band I only saw for the first time in Vancouver, so the 2nd time tonight, and I got to appreciate them a little more. They are kind of a technical brutal death metal band from Rome, Italy. I don't know their songs, but I did hear that they worked hard to bring you a set that spanned over 8 years. I am pretty sure that the fans enjoyed it, although they seemed to have trouble getting a pit going, and there should have been one, these guys have their sound nailed to perfection. Get out and check them out if they come to a town near you, it is well worth it.
