There are 10 songs on this “Long Road Made of Gold”, and if you like the Hardrock combined with some blues/classic rock, and even a bit of soul, then this is for you. They have previous songs, but I am not familiar with this band, so no comparison, and really, each album should stand on their own merits. So let’s get down to it.

An interesting addition on this album is some banjo in the opener, that’s something that caught my attention. I think you will find this album more of a 70’s brought into the future, and with recording this in their own studio, they knew what it was that they wanted to express in their music, and they have done just that. For some of you out there, I think it might take you a few listens to really get into it, but as all music, no matter the genre, albums should always be heard more than once, to really appreciate what has gone into it, the sound that was captured, and the lyrics. All combined to give the very best from the band to you.

In all honesty it did take me more than a few listens to appreciate this album. But put together 70’s style, some powered hard rocking riffs, rock n roll lyrics and just all around catchy, dance moving tunes and this is hard to resist, especially when you have the drums that act as that steady pulse. To top it off, the vocals, it’s just the final touch.
