MISGUIDED AGGRESSION is a 5 member band out of Ontario that rose quickly in their home province and is reaching out across Canada and beyond, to flood their common grounds with metal.

Some history:
2009- 1st debut album HATCHALA on YEAR OF THE SUNS RECORDS

2011- full length FLOOD THE COMMON GROUND overall sound, elements are tighter, every member has upped their game, and the bands anti war, bold media critical message is undeniable.

Now to the core of what their sound is like, its has the usual blast beats, its got breakdowns, all with some good arrangements, and well put down musically. The vocals at times are solid with some growls, but they also hit a high annoying scream, doesn’t fit the music. Take out the scream, and it would be a great listen, a good brutal sound. Its only 26 minutes long, seems like they should have made it an EP instead. The bass can be heard, that in itself is not a usual thing, and doesn’t need to be, as you know the tone of the bass pulls it all together.

Their bio describes them as the power of Pantera, the aggression of Lamb of God and the precision of Meshuggah. I personally don’t hear that in their songs, they do have their own in your face style, which I give them credit for.

But you decide, for yourself.
