Says Mike Mascioli, CEO of Mascioli Entertainment: “I will never lose my passion for buying and promoting national tours, especially when bands like Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach stay loyal by sticking with independents like myself. And with the massive success of this same tour in the States and Europe, I'm thrilled to be able to bring them to Canada!" Daniel Glick, Director of Concerts & Events for Evenko adds: “Fans spoke and we listened. We worked really hard with both bands to make this happen. They’ve been on our must-have list for a while now and announcing this tour is very exciting. We look forward to seeing Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach this fall in Canada”.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and PAPA ROACH actively involved the fans by giving them the opportunity to request the tour come to their city via a “demand campaign” housed at http://demand.fivefingerdeathpunch.com/ and http://demand.paparoach.com/
An overwhelming 60,000 Canadian fans responded to the call to action and made their voices heard. Zoltan Bathory (guitar) of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH states: “We took this Demand Campaign everywhere. We had huge success with it in the USA, and in Europe it even won the “Arena Tour Of The Year” award… It’s not surprising in a way as it is inclusive of the fans - they vote and we are listening. What a concept, right? Nobody learns from talking, you learn from listening.” “When we did this tour last year in the USA, it was truly the Best Tour Ever. We heard from so many of our Canadian fans that really wanted to see this show – so we’re bringing it to them. Really cannot be more excited to go back – even heading east of Quebec. This is one show you won’t wanna miss.” Says PAPA ROACH vocalist, Jacoby Shaddix.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH AND PAPA ROACH previously co-headlined American and European arenas to great success last Fall and won the prestigious “Arena Tour Of The Year” award from the German Promoters Association.

Special guests on the tour will be SIXX:A.M., whose single, “Rise” is currently #3 on the Canadian Rock Chart. Their recent April 29 global release of Prayers For The Damned, Vol. 1, debuted at #1 on the US Independent Album Chart, #2 on the US Rock Albums Chart, #7 on Canada’s Billboard Top 200 Chart, and in the Top 5 Album Chart around the globe. Vocalist James Michael says: "We've been getting tremendous support for our new single “Rise” from the fans and from Canadian radio. We are thrilled to be touring Canada this fall with FFDP and Papa Roach!"

Support comes from newcomers FROM ASHES TO NEW who will play songs from their debut Better Noise Records release, Day One, including “Through It All” and “Lost And Alone”, to audiences all across Canada.
Five Finger Death Punch’s highly acclaimed sixth album, Got Your Six, hit new sales heights for the band around the world with its September 2015 debut, amongst them a #3 debut in Canada. In the U.S. it claimed the #1 spot on the Top Album chart, #1 on the Overall Digital Album chart, and #1 on the Hard Music Album chart, as well as #2 on the Billboard Top 200, and sold 115K in the first week of release. Five Finger Death Punch have grown exponentially in just a few years, racking up 16 consecutive US top 10 hits, five #1 hits, four gold and one platinum album. With the release of 2013’s The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell Volume 1 (recently certified gold) and Volume 2, the band created continuous new content with which they outsold the majority of bands in their genre, selling 2 million albums over the past three years in North America alone. The band is currently taking Got Your Six around the world touring throughout 2017. For more info on the band, visit: www.fivefingerdeathpunch.com

PAPA ROACH released their 8th studio album F.E.A.R. in January of 2015 which featured the #1 single, “Face Everything And Rise”, and the Top 5 single “Gravity” featuring Maria Brink of In This Moment. As of June, the band has headed back into the studio to create their 9th studio album, reinvigorated by F.E.A.R.’s success and the incredible tour cycle that followed, and eager to bring fans more music. “Papa Roach's Jacoby Shaddix is the human equivalent of an energy drink. He is a firecracker who also happens to be keenly self-aware, candid to a near-fault… but he hasn't lost any of the spark that helped propel Papa Roach to multiplatinum status...” says Alternative Press. 2015 marked the 15th Anniversary of Infest the band’s breakthrough album, which has sold over 8 million albums to date.

SIXX:A.M. is Nikki Sixx, Dj Ashba, and James Michael. Their current album, Prayers For The Damned, Vol. 1, debuted at #1 on the US Independent Album Chart, #2 on the US Rock Albums Chart, #7 on Canada’s Billboard Top 200 Chart, and in the Top 5 Album Chart around the globe. The band has spent most of 2016 on the road playing major U.S. and European festivals during which they initiated a surprise call toaction for fans to gather somewhere near the venue for an intimate impromptu acoustic set, using the hashtag, #sixxamhitandrun across their social media platforms for location details. Canadian fans can expect the band to continue this tradition on the tour.

FROM ASHES TO NEW come fresh off their debut Better Noise Records release, Day One. Their modern take on alternative music that integrates rapping seamlessly, FROM ASHES TO NEW have been on the road since their inception, traveling with bands including Hollywood Undead, Papa Roach, In This Moment, Five Finger Death Punch, All Time Low, and PVRIS to name a few. Prior to this highly-anticipated tour, the band will be bringing Day One to the masses all summer long on Vans Warped
Tour 2016, beginning June 24th. Best summarized by Alternative Press, “FROM ASHES TO NEW bring nukes to a genre where everyone is playing with firecrackers.”

Faith No More’s landmark debut, We Care A Lot, which was initially released in 1985 and has been out of print for 20 years, sees an Aug. 19 reissue via Bill Gould’s Koolarrow Records.
“This was an album that started as a demo, before any label had any interest in us,” explained Faith No More bass player Bill Gould. “There were a couple of reasons we decided to release this now: first of all, it’s been 20 years since it has been commercially available. Secondly, when cleaning out my basement, I discovered the original master reels, and we all thought that resurrecting this from the original tapes would be a great way to reintroduce We Care A Lot into the world. Lastly, this has been a band effort; we are releasing this in the same way as we recorded it, deciding everything amongst ourselves and getting our hands deep into the nuts and bolts… just like we used to.”
The original 10-song album, remastered by Maor Appelbaum via the original reels Gould eluded to, is enhanced with nine bonus tracks including demo versions (taken from the original 8-track tapes) of “Greed,” “Mark Bowen,” “Arabian Disco” and “Intro,” live versions of “The Jungle” and “New Beginnings” and new mixes, via Matt Wallace, of “We Care A Lot,” “Pills for Breakfast” and “As The Worm Turns.” Liner notes from keyboard player Roddy Bottum and behind-the-scenes photos will be included with the physical release.

We Care A Lot arrived in November 1985 via Maximum RocknRoll editor Ruth Schwartz’s Mordam Records. The seminal album, boasting the timeless title track, which can still be heard daily on radio stations worldwide, confounded music fans and critics alike. As Pitchfork said in a 2015 article dubbed “The Misunderstanding of Faith No More,” the unpredictable and hard-to-define band “had radically altered the parameters of popular music years before the fabled alternative revolution.” Rolling Stone called it a "raw punk album" while Select Magazine dubbed it "a lustful marriage of mutoid metal and dance floor verve."
“When strangers ask what Faith No More is I’ve always said, ‘well, it’s kind of an art band…’ I say that mostly to distance us from the hard rock world that we’re often times lumped into. I mean, hard rock, sure, that was part of it, but our roots most definitely and pointedly stem from a specific freakout art time and place in San Francisco, a time that no longer exists. In 1982, the hippies mingled with the punks, the artists hung out with the musicians, the dance people and the punks were one and the Satanists and the sexual pioneers… all part of the same scene,” Bottum explains, colorfully setting the scene for the original inspiration for the band and We Care A Lot. “That weird SF window provided a platform from which we were free to express and cultivate a really uniquely odd sound experience. In Los Angeles, no one really cared much, but SF was always super supportive, encouraging us, directly and not, to get our collective freak on.”
“We felt like it was time to take the next step,” adds drummer Mike Bordin. “We raised as much money as we were able and booked time at Prairie Sun Studios just north of San Francisco. I can’t remember how long it took us to record the album, but not a lot, maybe a few days. The songs were sharp from having played most of them at various shows.  Very stripped down, basic as could be.  The place was on a farm in chicken country (Petaluma). Hard work, but a ton of fun too.”

With the eagerly and long awaited re-release of 'Revolution DNA' (1999), Season of Mist is now completing the reissuing of SEPTICFLESH's back catalogue. The acclaimed fifth full-length of the Greek demons was essentially a logical continuation and sharpening of the formula of its well-received predecessor 'A Fallen Temple' (1998). Their unique amalgamation of elements taken from death and gothic metal (meaning bands such as MOONSPELL and TIAMAT) with added experimental and progressive touches was taken to a new level.

While dropping the female vocals of previous releases, their captivating duels between Seth's harsh growls and Sotiris' emotional clean voice intensified. SEPTICFLESH's talent for dark atmospheres and avant-garde experimentation without losing ground contact reached a new height. It had been an adventurous musical journey that led from their savage debut EP 'Temple of the Lost Race' (1991) to the daring course taken by 'Ophidian Wheel' (1997), and through the widening of the horizon with 'A Fallen Temple' to the depths of 'Revolution DNA'. Coming from the safe harbour of traditional death metal, SEPTICFLESH soon entered more challenging waters by adding classical elements as represented by their first two full-lengths 'Mystic Places of Dawn' (1994) and 'Esoptron' (1995). Their third album 'Ophidian Wheel' witnessed the Greeks experimenting with the possibilities offered by original Gothic Metal as defined by PARADISE LOST's album 'Gothic' (1991) and the use of beautiful female vocals contrasting with harsh growls.

SEPTICFLESH were conceived by Christos and Spiros "Seth" Antoniou in Athens in the year 1990. The brothers were soon joined by guitarist Sotiris Vayenas. The debut EP 'Temple of the Lost Race' (1991) laid the foundation of a steadily rising career, which was only interrupted by a hiatus as the band members decided to go separate ways after the release of 'Sumerian Daemons' (2003). Continuous demand of their large and loyal following finally lead to a reunion in 2007, after which SEPTICFLESH firmly established themselves as a leading force of symphonic Dark Metal with critically acclaimed masterpieces 'Communion' (2008), 'The Great Mass' (2011), and 'Titan' (2014).

'Revolution DNA' comes with new artwork by Adrien Bousson approved by the band, exclusive liner-notes by Olivier "Zoltar" Badin, and bonus tracks, which were not available on the original release. The back catalogue of SEPTICFLESH will soon be completely available from Season of Mist.

JUNE 7th 2016

Kicking off his 2016 tour in Biloxi, MS on April 29 and touring almost continually right up to Halloween, in Los Angeles, Alice Cooper brings to his fans an updated show -- “Spend the Night With Alice Cooper” -- and brings his own brand of rock psycho-drama to fans both old and new, enjoying it as much as the audience does. Known as the architect of shock-rock, Cooper (in both the original Alice Cooper band and as a solo artist) has rattled the cages and undermined the authority of generations of guardians of the status quo, continuing to surprise fans and exude danger at every turn, like a great horror movie, even in an era where news can present real life shocking images.

Alice pioneered a grandly theatrical brand of hard rock that was designed to shock.  Drawing equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock, the group created a stage show that featured electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and boa constrictors. He continues to tour regularly, year in and year out, performing shows worldwide with the dark and horror-themed theatrics that he’s best known for.

Alice’s catalog of hits and anthems, including “I’m Eighteen,” “No More Mr Nice Guy,” School’s Out,” “Elected,” “Poison,” and others, are featured in his live show, along with a mix of newer songs, album cuts, and a sequence of cover songs, tributes to his "dead drunk friends," that inspired a spin-off group, the Hollywood Vampires with friends Johnny Depp and Joe Perry.

Alice’s touring band features the three guitar attack of Nita Strauss, Tommy Henriksen and Ryan Roxie, backed by longtime bassist Chuck Garric and drummer Glen Sobel.

As he heads back out on the concert trail with his own band or with The Hollywood Vampires, Cooper insists he’s still motivated to continue touring and recording albums, as well as making time for his most recent projects, including The Hollywood Vampires, as well as narrating the CD/interactive iphone & ipad app "Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood,’  an updating of the iconic story and classic music masterpiece, and also contributing guest vocals to Wish You Were Here Symphonic, an orchestral re-imagining of Pink Floyd's classic music.

For the Hollywood Vampires, Cooper and good friend Johnny Depp got together and decided the spirit of the original Hollywood Vampires should live again (minus the drinking).  Cooper and Depp were joined by Joe Perry, an old friend of both, and producer Bob Ezrin, and the recording became a tribute to the original Vampires, featuring a host of special guest appearances. Their new album and tour offer fans non-stop, energetic rock with their single “Bad As I Am”  as well as renditions of popular classics including “My Generation,” “Whole Lotta Love,” and a “School’s Out”/“Another Brick in the Wall” medley.
For Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood, (Giants Are Small and Deutsche Grammophon/UMC), Alice Cooper lends his storytelling skills as the narrator for a combination of classical music, visual wonder, and digital play that brings an invigorating new perspective to Prokofiev’s classic. Audiences of all ages are able to experience the legendary story of the resourceful Russian boy in multiple formats as well as an immersive, interactive experience of an iPad and iPhone app designed especially for children (age 5-8).

Marking the 40th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s seminal album Wish You Were Here, Decca/UMC released a new symphonic reworking of the classic record Wish You Were Here Symphonic. Alice Cooper takes on vocal duties on classic tracks such as ‘Wish You Were Here’ and ‘Welcome to the Machine,’ with Rick Wakeman on keyboards, the London Orion Orchestra, and guitarists Stephen McElroy and Dave Fowler from Australian Pink Floyd.  Wish You Were Here Symphonic was recorded at Abbey Road Studios, where Pink Floyd recorded the original album.

As if that wasn't enough, “Nights With Alice Cooper,” Alice’s nightly radio show, is available in nearly 100 cities in the USA, Canada, Australia, and the UK. The five hour long show features his favorite classic rock songs along with his insider anecdotes about many of the artists. With his influence on rock & roll long since acknowledged, his place in rock history and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame secure, and his multiple gold & platinum albums, sold-out tours plus countless honors and career achievement awards, there is little that Alice Cooper hasn’t achieved in his remarkable career.

British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN have released an official performance video for the song "Death Or Glory", taken from their latest album, "The Book Of Souls". Check it out below.

IRON MAIDEN guitarist Dave Murray told Music Radar about the songwriting process for "The Book Of Souls": "On previous albums we've usually gone into a rehearsal room for maybe a couple of weeks and maybe have four or five songs under our belts. Then we'd go into the studio and start recording, and the rest of the material would be written while we were there. But this time we went in there with a blank page and a bunch of ideas.

"It was a really fun experience because it keeps you on your toes," he added. "You have to be really sharp. We're scribbling guitar chords down, melodies and harmonies, changes… basically we were flying by the seat of our pants because we never knew what was coming next. But it was wonderful how things kept flowing."

IRON MAIDEN guitarist Adrian Smith said that he and singer Bruce Dickinson played an active part in songwriting proceedings.

"This time I did a couple of things with Bruce too," Smith explained to Total Guitar. "I thought I'd try writing shorter songs, like 'Two Minutes To Midnight' and 'Can I Play With Madness', with just Bruce and I. We haven't done that since I've been back in the band [Smith rejoined MAIDEN with Dickinson in 1999]. Maybe with 'Wickerman' we did it [from 2000's 'Brave New World']. So that was different. He came over before we started recording and we wrote 'Speed Of Light' and 'Death Or Glory'."

IRON MAIDEN's world tour, in support of the band's latest album, "The Book Of Souls", kicked off on February 24 in Sunrise, Florida (a suburb of Fort Lauderdale).

Video footage of German industrial metallers RAMMSTEIN performing a brand new song, presently only known as "Ramm 4", during their June 3 performance at the Rock In Vienna festival in Vienna, Austria can be seen below. The track, which was also played Thursday night at the Gods Of Metal festival in Monza, Italy, contains lyrics that seem to be a combination of various titles of previous RAMMSTEIN songs.

RAMMSTEIN last year released a 21st-anniversary box set, a numbered, career-wide collection titled "XXI". The set included the band's six studio albums, produced by Jacob Hellner and remastered onto 180-gram heavyweight double vinyl by Svante Forsbäck, as well as a separate rarities double LP, "Raritäten", including a previously unreleased version of the track "Los".

RAMMSTEIN hasn't made a new CD since 2009's "Liebe Ist Für Alle Da".

BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME will perform its most recent album, "Coma Ecliptic", in its entirety on this tour. This will be the first time the album will be performed live in full. Bassist Dan Briggs offers his thoughts and says: "The songs on 'Coma Ecliptic' came together in 2014 (and some of them even earlier than that), so it feels amazing to finally present the album live in full, the way it was intended to be heard. It's our most theatrical album yet  and we'll be looking to bring that element to the stage as best we can; not to mention how great it will be to share the stage with Devin and crew again."  "Coma Ecliptic" was, once again, an ambitious concept album for BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME. This time, the story followed the wanderings of an unidentified man, stuck in a coma, as he journeys through his past lives.
Each song was its own episode in a modern day, sort of "The Twilight Zone"-esque fashion. The unidentified man enters each world and is offered a choice: stay, or move on to the next in search of something better, something more "perfect."

Swedish occult rockers GHOST will release new EP later this year and will follow it up with a new round a touring featuring a brand new stage show.

Speaking to MetalSucks during GHOST's spring U.S. tour, one of the band's Nameless Ghouls stated about the group's plans for the coming months (see video below): "We're gonna finish up this tour in Albany, which is on May 22nd, and then our European tour starts May 27th. And that stretches into right in the beginning of July; so that's gonna be festivals. After that, we have an EP coming out. That's gonna be great, because that's gonna, sort of, re-energize the whole cycle. So there's gonna be some new material, we're gonna have a new stage show. So it's gonna be a completely different setting. Then we're gonna terrorize you with that up until next year."

Asked how big he envisions GHOST one day becoming, the Nameless Ghoul told WNOR FM99: "It's hard to fully set a parameter of, 'This is exactly how big we wanna become.' But I think that the one goal that we want to achieve… I mean, set aside a lot of the personal, I guess, monetary things that you want to achieve as a human being; you wanna be rich and you wanna be that… But when it comes to the size that I've always wanted us to become or turn into, it's basically a full-production band that can do almost anything that we need in order to fully accomplish the show that we've always had in mind. Obviously, it's not exactly the same vision from eight years ago — it's grown — but the idea has always been for it to be a full-production arena [show]."

Ozzfest Meets Knotfest...the ultimate meeting of metal minds...a double-header music and lifestyle weekend like no other on the planet.

This merger of two of the most well-known and established brands in rock — Ozzfest, celebrating its 20th anniversary, and Knotfest, which debuted in 2012 — is set for Saturday, September 24 (Ozzfest) and Sunday, September 25 (Knotfest) at San Manuel Amphitheater and Festival Grounds in San Bernardino, California. Tickets for the Live Nation-produced Ozzfest Meets Knotfest — a multi-stage, two-day weekend camping event with more than 40 acts — go on sale Friday, May 20 at 10:00 a.m. (PT) at Ozzfest.com and Knotfest.com. All the details and lineups (below) were revealed at a major press conference today (Thursday, May 12) at the Palladium in Hollywood, California.

Saturday's Ozzfest will be headlined by BLACK SABBATH — marking their last Southern California performance as part of the band's final tour — and Sunday's Knotfest bill is topped by the festival's namesake, SLIPKNOT.

On hand at the press conference were Ozzfest founder Ozzy Osbourne and SLIPKNOT's Corey Taylor and M. Shawn Crahan (a.k.a. Clown). The event began with a movie screening, followed by a question-and-answer session with artists from the Ozzfest Meets Knotfest bill and concluded with a performance from ZAKK SABBATH, led by Zakk Wylde.

Ozzy was joined onstage at today's event by his estranged wife Sharon, who put the couple's recent marital troubles behind her to tell the crowd: "Twenty years ago, we realized that there was no touring festival that supported music like these guys did. We came up with Ozzfest and for twenty years it was amazing. And for many of those years, we had the unbelievable SLIPKNOT playing. And SLIPKNOT came along and kicked our arses and created Knotfest. They took that around the world and it was hugely successful and critically acclaimed as one of the best festivals on Earth. Then we decided, 'Why not merge together?'"

She added: "We want it to be the loudest, biggest, dirtiest festival in California. We couldn't be happier."

The San Manuel Amphitheater and Festival Grounds is where Ozzfest — the event that launched the U.S. hard rock festival market and went on to tour the world — began in 1996 and where Knotfest last year took over the San Bernardino, California venue and expanded into a camping festival. There's also a longtime history between the two namesakes of the events, with SLIPKNOT appearing at Ozzfest in 1999, 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2013 at the inaugural Ozzfest Japan.

"We are here to create havoc and history," said Ozzy Osbourne. "Let the madness begin..."

"This could be the one of the coolest things I've ever been a part of," said Corey Taylor. "Starting out as an Ozzfest band, coming into our own with Knotfest and now combining forces to make a little metal history...it was meant to be and I'm proud to be a part of it."

"Playing with BLACK SABBATH is always an honor," Crahan exclaimed. "Merging both festivals will be a legendary experience that will be life-changing for all fans. We are excited to bring all the families together again."

"The impact of Ozzfest on heavy music and on SLIPKNOT, cannot be underestimated," said Cory Brennan, president, 5B Artist Management. "For 20 years, Ozzfest has given fans their first glimpse at bands like SLIPKNOT, DISTURBED and countless others, but also bringing new fans and bands together every year. Ozzfest inspired SLIPKNOT to continue this vital tradition with Knotfest, and it's an honor to celebrate our genre alongside them in 2016."

Baroness' triumphant new album contains some of the biggest, brightest and most glorious riffs and choruses the adventurous rock group has ever recorded. But its title, Purple, also reflects a dark moment in the group's recent history: the terrifying bus crash they survived while on tour in 2012. "The band suffered a gigantic bruise," singer-guitarist John Baizley says of the accident. "It was an injury that prevented us from operating in a normal way for quite some time. Hopefully, this record is the springboard that helps us get away from all that."

The album, released in December 2015 and which producer Dave Fridmann (the Flaming Lips, Sleater-Kinney) helmed, covers the gamut of emotions Baroness have experienced in recent years and serves as their victory cry. Purple finds a revamped lineup of the band – Baizley and Pete Adams (guitar, vocals) and new additions Nick Jost (bass, keyboards) and Sebastian Thomson (drums) – playing 10 intricately textured tunes and singing about the worry they felt immediately after the crash ("If I Have to Wake Up (Would You Stop the Rain)"), the struggle to recover as smoothly as possible ("Chlorine & Wine") and their ongoing quest for survival ("The Iron Bell"). From its bulldozing opener "Morningstar" to the avant-garde 17-second closer "Crossroads of Infinity," the record is at once both their most emotionally threadbare and musically complex offering to date, with passages that allude to their classic-rock roots as much as their crushing metal past.

Steven Tyler will embark on the "Out On A Limb" solo tour in early July. The 19-city trek will see the AEROSMITH singer backed by his Nashville-based band LOVING MARY and will include stories from Tyler's childhood, his time with AEROSMITH and his new headquarters in Nashville.
"What would I not pay to go see [Paul] McCartney, but instead of playing with whoever he's with now, actually do (a show) where he tells you what he was thinking when he wrote 'Yesterday'?" Tyler told USA Today. "That's what I'm doing. I figured I'd talk about 'Sweet Emotion' and 'Dream On' and where I was when I wrote it, and 'Seasons Of Wither' and how I played it."
The first "Out On A Limb" performance took place Monday, May 2 at David Geffen Hall in New York's Lincoln Center and benefitted Janie's Fund, the AEROSMITH frontman's charitable initiative helping girls overcome the trauma resulting from abuse and neglect. Named after the AEROSMITH song "Janie's Got A Gun", Janie's Fund came to life via a collaboration between Tyler and leading non-profit Youth Villages.
"I'm digging deep and finding some real buried treasure for this one," Tyler said prior to Monday's concert. "'I've never performed quite like this before. I'm telling it like it is and getting to perform with some extremely talented musicians and dear friends from Nashville."
