EXODUS PREMIERE VIDEO
Bay Area thrash titans EXODUS are celebrating Blood In, Blood Out’s stellar Top 40 Billboard debut with the release of their brand new music video for the title track ‘Blood In, Blood Out’, directed by Shan Dan Horan of the Shadow Born Group (Buckcherry, Carnifex, Winds of Plague). The video features hundreds of dedicated Bay Area fans that came out in droves to perform as extras in the video after a wide casting call. Check out the video now, exclusively via Revolver Magazine: http://smarturl.it/exodus-bibo-premiere

“‘Blood In, Blood Out’ was exactly the kind of video we wanted and needed to make… unbridled energy, violence, blood and our Bay Area friends and family at the center of attention! Just as they should be,” states EXODUS guitarist Gary Holt.  “I hate making videos and this one was so much fun, I actually caught myself saying things I never would say before! ‘Let's run through it again!’”

EXODUS vocalist Steve “Zetro” Souza adds, “Typical and sheer violence, straight up aggressive and in your fucking face! Watching this video kind of reminds me of Fight Club, but awesome action and awesome violence, perfect for the title track of the new EXODUS album ‘Blood In, Blood Out’!”

“Directing this music video has been a pleasure. Having the task to find hundreds of metal heads to fill up a dark room with very limited time seemed like a tough task,” begins director Shan Dan Horan. “What I found however, was an overwhelming response from some of the most positive and energetic fans I've ever met. I feel honored to have played a small role in that. Old metalheads, young ones, to even a guy that showed up in his wheelchair. The fact of the matter is everyone was accepted and everyone picked up their brethren when they would fall in the pit. To me that's what ‘Blood In, Blood Out’ is about. While we all come from different backgrounds - once a metal head, always a metal head. That's something that stays in your blood.”

Blood In, Blood Out was released on October 14th via Nuclear Blast and debuted at #38 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 charts in its first week. That’s a staggering 76 charting spots higher and nearly double the sales above the band’s last release in 2010! This concretes Blood In, Blood Out’s status as the band’s highest-charting album to date.

Blood In, Blood Out also debuted at #2 on the Hard Rock/Metal charts and #6 on the Independent charts, as well as at #29 in Germany, #30 in Finland, #30 in Switzerland, #38 in Austria, #38 in the Czech Republic, #72 in the UK, #75 in France, #85 in the Netherlands, and #101 overall and #6 on Hard Music charts in Canada. This includes some territories that EXODUS has never charted in before!

Blood In, Blood Out can be ordered from the Nuclear Blast USA Webshop in CD, digi-pak + bonus DVD, 2-LP exclusive yellow vinyl, and imported limited edition box set formats. The album can also be purchased via iTunes, Google Play and Amazon. Or, pick up a copy of the album at your local music retailers.

EXODUS will hit the road with Slayer and Suicidal Tendencies in just under three weeks, so your tickets via the official EXODUS Facebook page now! Due to the overwhelmingly demand, EXODUS VIP Experience packages are available for the entire tour via SLOtix.com. All EXODUS VIP Experience attendees will be included in a giveaway for either an autographed Gary Holt signature guitar or an EXODUS guitar.  At the end of the tour, Gary Holt will personally call the winner himself to announce that they’ve won!

SHIPROCKED 2015 ANNOUNCE LINEUP
ShipRocked--the ultimate rock music cruise vacation--will sail roundtrip between the Port Of Miami and Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas from February 2-6, 2015 onboard the Norwegian Pearl.
ShipRocked 2015--fueled by Monster Energy--will be headlined by Limp Bizkit, featuring Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, and John Otto.

Fred Durst says, “Limp Bizkit? New album? Sunshine? Metal party? Phil Anselmo? Unlimited lobster? Half-naked women? No rules? Loud music? Every day? Every night? Repeat five times in a row? You don't have to ask me twice. I'M IN!!!!! See you there, Bizkit heads!!”

The sixth ShipRocked will also feature Chevelle, heavy metal all-star band Metal Allegiance, Black Label Society, Buckcherry, P.O.D., Sevendust, Tremonti, Andrew W.K., Living Colour, Filter, Lacuna Coil, Nonpoint, Otherwise, Zach Myers of Shinedown with J.R. Moore & Zack Mack, Crobot, Thousand Foot Krutch, Wilson, Islander, Andy Wood, Letters From The Fire, Cilver, and DJ Lippy Rage.

For the first time, ShipRocked guests are invited to start their vacation early with the ShipRocked Super Sail Away Pre-Party on February 1, 2015. The Pre-Party will feature Chevelle’s only ShipRocked performance, as well as sets from Sevendust and Wilson.

For the Super Sail Away, cruise guests will avoid boarding lines by checking into their cabins during the day on February 1. The cost is about the same as a hotel room, food is included, the Super Bowl will be shown on big screens, bands will perform, and guests can check out the bars, get pampered in the spa, and gamble at the casino (while at sea).

For the Pre-Party, the Norwegian Pearl will set sail in the evening on February 1 and will return to pick up additional ShipRocked guests the next morning. Those already onboard will have the luxury of sleeping in while others are boarding. Cabins for ShipRocked 2015 are on sale now at www.ShipRocked.com.
Metal Allegiance--featuring singers Philip Anselmo (Down, ex-Pantera) and Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), guitarists Chris Broderick (Megadeth), Scott Ian (Anthrax), and Gary Holt (Slayer/Exodus), bassists Frank Bello (Anthrax) and David Ellefson (Megadeth), and drummers Charlie Benante (Anthrax) and Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, ex-Dream Theater)--will put their spin on a scorching set of heavy metal’s most influential and recognizable songs.

"It'll be a blast to rejoin my fellow badass Metal Allegiance compatriots on ShipRocked 2015,” says Philip H. Anselmo of Metal Allegiance. “Expect more blasts from the past, plus some killer musicians amongst the awesome atmosphere of jamming on the water! Come out and jam with us!"
Mike Portnoy of Metal Allegiance explains, "After the recent debut of Metal Allegiance, we couldn't wait to get back together and throw down again! We're fans just like everybody on the other side of the stage watching us. We all love this music and Metal Allegiance gives us a chance to hang, jam and have fun with this unique brotherhood of metal!"

“ShipRocked is about great live music, and it's about the fans. The way that crowds have responded to Limp Bizkit's return to the stage – and the way the band has embraced its fans during those performances – truly epitomizes that spirit.  And Metal Allegiance is a band of world class musicians, heavy metal legends in their own right, performing not just for the fans, but AS fans of the great hard rock and metal tradition that's helped to shape so many of the bands that we have on board this year,” says event producer Alan Koenig of ASK4 Entertainment.
Each ShipRocked is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that provides guests with the opportunity to vacation with their favorite bands, meet new friends, and reunite with old friends year after year. On any given day, guests might find themselves dining, drinking, rocking out, swimming, working out, or gambling alongside their favorite rock stars. The full-ship charter provides a one-of-a-kind experience for guests to have the time of their lives with thousands of like-minded friends. Guests will spend two full days enjoying concerts and activities on a private beach on Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas (http://www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/great-stirrup-cay). The island features a large performance area on the beach with full production for rock shows and offers various island excursions such as parasailing, snorkeling, canoeing and more.

ShipRocked guests will enjoy multiple performances from every band on different stages throughout the ship, artist meet and greets, Q&A sessions, along with artist-hosted activities including contests, game shows, insane parties, theme nights and more.

During ShipRocked 2014, nearly 3,000 fans from 44 states across the U.S. and almost a dozen countries were treated to more than 50 performances from 25 artists on six stages aboard the Norwegian Pearl--and on the spectacular beach stage of Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas--along with three days of meet-and-greets with ShipRocked artists, comedy and DJ sets, impromptu stage-side signings, and more.

The 2014 ShipRocked Cancer Sucks! onboard charity auction raised over $100,000 towards funding innovative medical research and finding a cure for cancer. Auction items included one-of-a-kind rock memorabilia and concert experiences. Check out recap videos from ShipRocked’s 2014 cruise here:

THE DECIBEL MAGAZINE TOUR ANNOUNCE LINEUP
The Decibel Magazine Tour has established itself as the extreme music destination of the spring, bringing metalheads a thoughtfully curated lineup that celebrates the genre's proud and diverse global legacy. The fourth installment is no different, as Swedish melodeath legends AT THE GATES join forces with U.S. hardcore heroes CONVERGE and U.K. death/doom supergroup VALLENFYRE, with yet one more very special opener to be announced this December.

Last year, Decibel brought you CARCASS' first sustained domestic tour in five years, as the reanimated death metal legends introduced North America to long-awaited comeback album Surgical Steel. In 2015, we're stoking fans' salivary glands again, offering the first live taste of death metal icons AT THE GATES' incredible 19-years-in-the-making At War With Reality. Presented by Century Media, IndieMerchstore.com, Nuclear Blast Mailorder, Handshake Inc., Lace Music, Deathwish Inc and Profound Lore, the 2015 Decibel Magazine Tour will slaughter the souls of North American concertgoers for 15 unforgettable dates, offering a bounty of extreme trailblazers making their best music right now.

"Super-stoked at finally getting to be part of the Decibel tour!"enthuses AT THE GATES frontman Tomas Lindberg. "A great mag, with great people behind it! And finally being able to rip out new stuff in front of a U.S. club audience? Sweet! The bill looks amazing, too! The most relevant hardcore band on the planet and the fiercest old-school death metal band on the same night as us? Excited!"

Four-time Decibel cover stars CONVERGE continue to not just push, but outright obliterate the boundaries of extreme music, most recently with 2012's All We Love We Leave Behind. "We are excited to be part of this fantastic and diverse tour," says frontman Jacob Bannon, who designed the tour logo and art. "For me, AT THE GATES are one of the most important bands in contemporary heavy music. It will be an honor to tour the country with them."

Boasting present and past members of PARADISE LOST, MY DYING BRIDE and AT THE GATES, old-school death-dealing supergroup VALLENFYRE can't wait to debut songs from 2014's critically acclaimed sophomore stunner, Splinters. "This will be VALLENFYRE's first U.S. tour, and what a tour," beams frontman Gregor Mackintosh. "I think this is the most diverse and exciting bill of any metal tour I have seen this year. Great to be a part of it. We will be injecting some British filth into your unsuspecting American ears. Cheers."

We know you can't wait to GO to war with this lineup either, so here's your chance to score a great deal and avoid standing in line. There will be a number of VIP premium packages available in each market, providing you with a limited edition T-shirt, 18 x 24 tour poster, "Skip the Line" pass, exclusive digital tour issue of Decibel Magazine, a coupon for 15% off a purchase on Indie Merch's webstore, and free digital sampler from Century Media. The price of this package is less than you would spend on a ticket and a tour shirt at the show! More details, including ticket info, are available at www.decibelmagazinetour.com

VIRGIN STEELE ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM
SPV / Steamhammer is proud to announce a new Virgin Steele studio album for February / March 2015 . This will be the first full-length album with brand new songs since "The Black Light Bacchanalia" which was released in 2010.

David DeFeis describes the new album: "....it is a very heavy non-concept type album in the vein of  something like a Noble Savage or an Age Of Consent, where there is no particular "story" that one has to follow...it is instead a straightforward collection of songs that work well together. It is about 80-90% tracked already, and final mixing will begin next month!" He further stated that: "I know that we announced a box-set was to be issued this autumn, which in addition to two more re-issues, would also have included a new bonus album called "Ghost Harvest", (which by the way is finished and ready to go).... but... the group and I and our label all feel that the time is right now first for some brandnew US metal in the style that VIRGIN STEELE deliver, therefore the new album is now our focus but...fear not...the previously discussed box set will be released later next year, most likely a short time after we issue the brand new release that we are currently completing. And for those who were asking...yes... the new album does have a title and I will reveal it in the weeks ahead.... With these new recordings we have gone back to some earlier methods of recording such as using analog tape, and the whole thing sounds and feels very organic. To conclude...the Group and I are really happy with the new material and we are sure that all the Fans who waited so long will be more than pleased.!"

Watch out for more info to be revealed soon.

SPV / Steamhammer re-released Virgin Steele´s "The Marriage Of Heaven & Hell I+II" and "Invictus" earlier this year. These 2 CD digipak re-release both came with special bonus material and a huge booklet with new liner notes and unseen photos by David DeFeis.

GWAR ROAD MANAGER SPEAKS ABOUT
UPCOMING TOUR
Toodles, ya parasitic bohabs. It's me, Sleazy P Martini. As you may already know, GWAR will be out on the GWAR Eternal Tour starting tonight because Thai ladyboys don't pay for themselves. You smarter Bohabs have probably even noticed that GWAR has undergone a lineup change.

The reason for this is the absence of Oderus Urungus due to his return to space. First of all, let's clear something up: Oderus is not dead! Nor is GWAR. Now, admittedly things will be different. For instance, with Oderus's absence, touring expenses will be scaled back considerably as crack usage by the band will drop by over nine tons a day. To which I, the CIA and the Medellin Cartel respond with a collective: "Phew!" Now all those drug mules crossing the border can use the extra butt space for more important things such as food, water and more relatives.

Of course, there are many in the scene (code for no-talents) who say that with Oderus out of the band, GWAR should hang it up. To which I must respond: If I wanted your opinion, I would just knock you unconscious and urinate on your face. Which wouldn't elicit much of an opinion at all - just the way I like it. You see, GWAR is a perpetual and unstoppable force. If I tried to retire them, I most certainly would end up flayed, shredded, pulled and served with coleslaw and fries to Gor-Gor. One who is a lion tamer cannot suddenly decide to stop and ask his lions to become house cats. And GWAR's lust for human carnage cannot properly be met in semi-retirement on the talk-show circuit. So the shows must go on. And they have, starting with Riot Fest in Chicago. The GWAR Eternal Tour starts tonight in Norfolk, VA.  and goes through December 13th in Baltimore, MD

Now, there are some who would say, "How can you find a lead singer as talented as Oderus Urungus?" To which I have responded by having famed archeologist Dr. Richard Leaky travel to Antarctica to dig up another immortal Scumdog. According to Dr. Dick, these furballs are stacked up in GWAR's fortress basement like chicken pot pies four for a buck. In fact, I have already thawed out one promising prospect named Blóthar. While not as talented a singer as most primates, he's definitely better than Justin Bieber or the entire One Direction line up.
So, in response to all you haters who would give your left nut to see GWAR finally call it quits, you can go ahead and keep your left nut and hang it from your nose-ring for another 30 years, because GWAR AIN'T GOING NOWHERE!  And though you may think GWAR sucks, remember that GWAR is immortal. So, long after your lame hipster ass is in the ground being used as a luxury condo by worms, maggots and pill bugs, GWAR will still be alive, sucking forever.

LORD DYING ANNOUNCE WESTCOAST TOUR
Portland, Oregon's LORD DYING have completed recording their much anticipated sophomore album and are set to embark on a West Coast tour with stoner/sludge trio Castle.  The new record, entitled Poisoned Altars, was recorded with Toxic Holocaust's Joel Grind (Black Tusk) at Audiosiege Studios in Portland and will see an early 2015 release via Relapse Records.

Poisoned Altars is direct result of the relentless work the band put in the past 18 months grinding it out on the road touring non-stop with the likes of Red Fang, Black Tusk, Corrosion of Conformity, Valient Thorr and more.  Now the band will test out new material back on the road starting November 8th in Spokane, WA through November 26th in their hometown, Portland.  Frontman Erik Olson commented on the upcoming dates:

"We are excited to get out on the road and pummel you with endless riffs!  This time we will be joined with San Francisco's Castle.  This will be heavy as hell, don't snooze and loose!"

ARCH ENEMY AND KREATOR ANNOUNCE 7" SPLIT
This October/November, metal icons ARCH ENEMY will be returning to North American soil to tour in support of their new, critically acclaimed album, War Eternal! To celebrate this momentous headlining trek, the band will be releasing a split 7" with KREATOR, who are direct support on the run. Available starting at the Baltimore show on October 23, be sure to purchase this exclusive transparent red 7" (limited to 500 copies) at the merch table; a dark red 7" (limited to 500 copies) will also be available on KREATOR and ARCH ENEMY's European tour, which sees ARCH ENEMY as direct support.

ARCH ENEMY/KREATOR split 7" track-listing:
Side A (ARCH ENEMY)
1. Breaking The Law (JUDAS PRIEST cover)
Side B (KREATOR)
1. Iron Destiny

ARCH ENEMY's Michael Amott (guitar) comments: "Super excited about the upcoming tours in Europe and USA with KREATOR, and it's really cool to have this split vinyl 7" coming out to celebrate the extreme metal party of the year! Covering the JUDAS PRIEST classic 'Breaking The Law' is obviously not the most original idea, but this is a heavily rearranged version that sounds very ARCH ENEMY, and anyhow there's no denying that the mighty PRIEST is a great influence on ARCH ENEMY...Enjoy this unique and limited KREATOR/ARCH ENEMY release and see you on the road!"

KREATOR's Mille Petrozza (vocals, guitar) comments: "Finally, after all these years, ARCH ENEMY and KREATOR not only tour together, but will also release a split single! I have always been a fan of this stuff since these are special little collector's items. We chose the song 'Iron Destiny' for this. Lyrically this is a tribute to the early days of the band, the days when we were young metal-heads, discovering the music that we still love to this day. KREATOR is looking forward to this run and we hope to see all of you!"

ARCH ENEMY is currently touring the world in support of War Eternal, which was hailed as the band's "strongest album in years" (DECIBEL MAGAZINE). To purchase War Eternal, head over to iTunes or AmazonMP3 for a digital copy with a bonus track; a variety of physical formats is also available at CM Distro and your local retailer.

MONSTER MAGNET PREMIERES VIDEO "THE DUKE"
2013 saw the release of MONSTER MAGNET's latest album Last Patrol.  Now comes Milking the Stars a reimagining of Last Patrol.Met with critical acclaim and supported by a world tour, Last Patrol has become a staple in the MONSTER MAGNET discography.

Milking the Stars will be released November 17th on Napalm Records. "Milking the Stars is a "re-imagined" version of Last Patrol featuring four new songs and live tracks.  Today MONSTER MAGNET releases a video for the song "The Duke".  The band worked with acclaimed director Phil Mucci (Pig Destroyer, Opeth, Stone Sour) on the video and today it is receiving its exclusive premiere courtesy of Brooklyn Vegan HERE and via Invisible Oranges HERE.

Wyndorf about the video:

"When I was a kid I'd sit in my room with my eyes closed, listening to albums and dreaming up spectacular images and stories to go along with the music. Ah, nothing beats youthful imagination.

Fast forward to today and MONSTER MAGNET has done plenty of music videos and try as I have, none of them ever replicated that particular hallucinatory fever that gripped me when I was young. That is until now. Phil Mucci has captured the 'science fiction noir' elements of Last Patrol and Milking The Stars and mainlined them into 'The Duke'. And I didn't have to do anything but provide the music and make a few notes. Oh, and have a few (extremely enjoyable) conversations with him on the phone.

Mr. Mucci gets it. And the fact he's so talented means we all get to enjoy this bad-ass piece of 'fever dream pulp cinema'. Something tells me Phil used to listen to albums with his eyes closed when he was a kid too!

The first track from the album made available for me "No Paradise For Me" can be streamed HERE.

Dave Wyndorf describes Milking the Stars:

"This was a happy experiment for me. It's not a re-mix record by the current definition. It's more like Last Patrol in a 'what if?' style alternate reality.
'What if these songs were recorded in 1968?' 'What would happen if I turned a pretty song into an angry one?" How would adding creepy organs and Mellotrons affect the emotional vibe of a song?" These are just a few of the questions that roll around in my head when I write and record any album but this time I decided to actually answer them with fully fleshed out, recorded and mixed examples.

The process actually created new songs. That's the icing on the cake for me. New sounds, new vocals, different instruments and arrangements make for a weird 1960's vibe totally apart from Last Patrol which was fun for Phil, Bob, Garrett, mixer Joe Barresi and myself to explore.

Finally there's expanded versions of the songs "Last Patrol" and "Three Kingfishers" as recorded live at the AB club in Belgium, 2014. Both those songs were re-arranged for "maximum rock and psych" before we hit the road last year and feature the debut performance of new MAGNET bassist, Chris Kosnik. Personally, I think they beat the original versions.

Rock on!"

Milking the Stars Track Listing:

2. Mindless Ones '68
3. No Paradise For Me
4. End of Time (B-3)

STEEL PANTHER NEW VIDEO

"I cannot believe that we are touring with JUDAS PRIEST.

One of the most iconic heavy-metal bands of all time! We are going to have THE most amazing tour this fall," exclaimed vocalist Michael Starr. "If you don't buy a ticket for the show, you must be a Justin Bieber fan. Death to all but metal!"

STEEL PANTHER's third album, "All You Can Eat", sold around 13,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 24 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD arrived in stores on April 1 via Open E/KLS.

ZTV WEBSITE IS LAUNCHED
Devin Townsend has announced the launch of ZTV, a brand new video series starring the inimitable Ziltoid, as well as a brand new interactive site dedicated to him. Following on from the announcement of the Z² double-album, which is due for release on the 27th October 2014 in Europe and 28th October 2014 in the US, the newest glimpse into the Ziltoid story can be viewed here: www.ziltoid.com

Devin had this to say: Hey guys! Devin here... been a few weeks since the Z2 album was delivered, and we've been getting everything ready for the upcoming tours and the release of the records. As I've mentioned, Z2 is an experiment for me in trying different mediums to illustrate a concept, and as such...I'm really excited to present to you the new Ziltoid website, and the first of three ZTV episodes leading up to the album release! The crowd-funding campaign has allowed me to actualize Ziltoid and its music in ways I'd always hoped for, and the idea with the three web episodes is to set up the concept of the album. This first one is less over the top than it gets by episode three, but it needs to establish the whole story before it gets more absurd. It is a great pleasure to be able to do this, and was an awesome experience (other than having to explain to management and family why I spent so much money on puppets =) Thank you for the support and allowing me to continue =)
Devin

ONSLAUGHT SINGER TO SIT OUT UPCOMING TOUR
Onslaught vocalist Sy Keeler will sit out the bands upcoming ‘THRASH INVSION TOUR’ of the US / Canada / South America, featuring ‘ONSLAUGHT / ARTILLERY / VX36 due to health issues with his son.

Sy Keeler comments:
I know you are going to be disappointed with my decision as am I, but I sincerely hope you can understand our situation. My reason for this is the ongoing health issues with my son who has been suffering with a debilitating illness for some time, he is still on a downward path with no sign of any recovery on the horizon, therefore to be away for 2 months will put a lot of pressure on the family and increased anxiety on my son. We also have regular visits to specialists coming up during the next 6 months. Therefore at this time I am having to think of my family first and sadly I am unable to be away in the Americas for the duration intended..

Onslaught guitarist Nige Rockett adds: We’re extremely gutted that Sy cannot make this tour and of course we wish Sy’s family all the best in this difficult time, we are positive things will improve in the very near future and look forward to having Sy with us back real soon..

It was a really tough decision for us to make also, but Sy was very supportive that we take out a replacement vocalist to make this tour happen.

So much work had already been carried out by our management / booking agents / promoters behind the scenes it would have been unfair to let our team down, the other bands down and most importantly not to let our fans down.

On a positive note, It’s gonna be awesome to have Neil Turbin on board for the tour, for me he’s always been one of the best Thrash Metal vocalists out there no question, his work on the ‘Anthrax album ‘Fistful of Metal’ was simply amazing and I believe he’s one of the only guys in the genre who could step into Sy’s shoes. I think It brings a unique edge to this tour and I’m sure the fans will really dig what they hear..!!

Vesania's roots are firmly planted in Poland, but their reach has been expanding throughout the years across the globe. The collective experience of the members of the band speaks volumes of their knowledge and ability to craft world class albums.

There's no singular unifying lyrical concept on "Deus Ex Machina", but there's a main theme, a coherent and deliberate thread running from the title through the music. The title of the album is a term from ancient Greek tragedy and translates to "god from the machine". The idea for the concept was that a machine, typically a rudimentary crane, would lower a thespian playing god onto the stage to solve the seemingly unsolvable conflict in the plot. In modern entertainment, the term has evolved to primarily refer to a cheap solution in a poorly written script or novel. Alternatively, Vesania's "Deus Ex Machina" is a call for any kind of help or intervention because all of the lyrics on the album are hopeless and show characters in situations that leaves them powerless. One of the tracks tells the story of the lowering of an actor, supposedly the god, onto a stage before a corrupted man searching for answers. Instead, that actor is lowered by a noose around their neck, having already died. The lyrics paint a drab picture, particularly when paired with equally bleak music. Recording was completed at Sound Division Studio, with mastering by Scott Hull at Visceralsound Studios.

AT THE GATES RELEASE TITLE TRACK
Today marks the debut of AT THE GATES' first new material in 19 years: the title track from their highly anticipated album, At War With Reality, due out worldwide on October 27th via Century Media Records! To hear this momentous single from the "Gothenburg style" melodic death metal pioneers, listen to the song  below:

AT THE GATES' Jonas Björler (bass) comments: "We have finally reached the moment for the unveiling of a first full brand new AT THE GATES song! We have put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this record for the past year, and we are very happy to now present you the title track of 'At War With Reality'. Let the journey begin..."

With the classic line-up of their latest masterpiece, Slaughter Of The Soul (1995), AT THE GATES recorded At War With Reality with Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman (IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY, DIMMU BORGIR) and mixed with Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (OPETH, AMON AMARTH, KREATOR). Never compromising their vision, this is an album that once again captures the honesty and integrity that has defined AT THE GATES, making them one of the most significant extreme metal names of the past 25 years. True devotees have always been excited by the band's willingness to be diverse; At War With Reality continues that tradition after 19 years of anticipation. With this long-awaited album, "the greatest Swedish Death Metal band ever reclaims their rightful throne" (DECIBEL MAGAZINE).

ORANGE GOBLIN EMBARK ON US TOUR
With ORANGE GOBLIN's Back From The Abyss full-length now three weeks away from release, the band has confirmed the first North American tour in support of the record. Set to begin December 1st and run through December 21st, ORANGE GOBLIN will return to the stage touring alongside Down, Bl'ast, and labelmates, King Parrot!

Vocalist Ben Ward comments, "I remember being a spotty 19 year old rushing out to the record store to buy the first Down album NOLA the very day it came out in 1994. Now, twenty years on, I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming that ORANGE GOBLIN are heading back to North America as main support to the mighty Down. It really is fairytale stuff for us. Down are one of the bands that are the reason ORANGE GOBLIN exists. To be given this opportunity to go out to promote our brand new album, Back From The Abyss, to the Down fans is just a dream come true the rest of the band and I can't wait to get started. The fact that we also get to see Bl'ast and King Parrot every night just makes it all so hard to believe! Hail the Leaf! Hail the RIFF! Hail DOWN!"

Recorded earlier this year, Back From The Abyss reunites ORANGE GOBLIN with producer Jamie Dodd; who served as producer on the band's best selling album in North America to date - 2012's A Eulogy For The Damned. Two songs already have fans globally excited; Loudwire and Metal Hammer premiered the Motörhead-tinged "The Devil's Whip" to overwhelming success on August 15th. Last week Noisey premiered the first video from the album for the song "Sabbath Hex." The band is currently working on a second video for the song "Mythical Knives" which is expected to be completed by month's end.

Touring for the album will start in Europe on October 9th. Travelling the continent with friends Saint Vitus, ORANGE GOBLIN will pull song selections from their extensive catalog now spanning eight studio albums. Tickets for their North American dates are set to go on sale for shows Friday, September 19th.
