BLOOD OF THE SAINTS

Let me introduce you to a pack of German, Romanian power metal beasts. Attila Dorn - vocals 2005 Return in Bloodred - debut album In 2003 Charles and Matthew Greywolf decided they wanted to put together a band, so hence came “POWERWOLF”. And they have now released their 4th full length album with 11 tracks. It has gained #23 position on German Charts, #75 in Switzerland and #50 in Media Mark. Like a werewolf, they have a powerful sense, far beyond any human or wolf , and they have gone on to bring werewolf legends mixed in with some dark religious tales to spew onto humans. There are some very powerful howling guitar riffs, truly amazing ones, and along with those comes the intense drums that sound like the heartbeat of a running wolf. The keyboards are masterfully created to raise the hair on your neck, making you look around to see if there is someone or something about to taste your blood. The vocals are diverse, and faultless, extremely well executed. This album is taking off where Bible of the Beast left off. Some will say its too catchy, but that’s what power metal is all about, one that you just cant stop listening to, one easy to sing along with. The musical aspect and the vocals are well crafted here. Each and every song is head banging and horns raised worthy. If you are into the Power Metal, then this album is for you. A long time ago, the belief that if a child was born with hair, a birthmark or a caul on their head, they were suppose to possess shape-shifting abilities, meaning a werewolf. Let legends lie where they may, but if you need to hear the music of some wondering beasts, than I suggest to you “Blood of the Saints”.
