JANUARY 12th 2017

Welcome to Metaltitans, we are here with Jamie Anderston of SISTER, who hail from Stockholm, Sweden who are about to deliver some raw, heavy and energetic punk/metal with their newest album “Stand Up, Forward, March!”

Interview By: Metal Mom

1. Tell us what we can expect from your new album “Stand Up, Forward, March!”?

Well, it's our third album (fourth if we count the Ep from 2009 ”Deadboys making noise” ). This time we really took the time that we needed to make the album as great as possible.
We had more tracks when we went into the studio and it's actually the first time we have worked with a Co-writer. His name is Jonas Tegel and he also produced the album. I think it's really important to work with a person outside of the band that sees the whole process in an objective way. The album is mixed by Tobias Lindell who did the mix on our first album ”HATED” back in 2011.

2. You have 11 songs on the album, do you have a favourite, and why that one?

In that case I have to say Unbeliever. In my opinion that song got it all and I'm really satisfied with how the vocals turned out.

3. How did you decide on the album cover?

We actually talked about having the band on the cover on our previous album “Disguised Vultures”, but it didn't end that way. This time we took some cool album photos and on that way, it is.

4. Who designed the cover?

The album design is actually made by our friend and ex bass player Rikki Riot.

5. You have a tour coming up as well, in Europe, do you think you might come to North America one day?

Yes, hopefully! I would love to do play/tour in NA but so far, it's been an economical issue. I'll take the next flight if we get the right deal.

Thank you for taking the time to do this interview with us here at Metaltitans, we wish you much success with your new album “Stand Up, Forward, March!”

Thank you, Jamie Anderson
