MARCH 14th 2015

Monster Energy Drink presents the 5th Annual Welcome to Rockville Festival.

By Kathleen Clarkson at the Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville FL. April 25th & 26th, 2015. The very first Welcome to Rockville Festival was in 2011 and had roughly 20 bands and this years lineup has more than 42. Bringing back Godsmack and Halestorm both which performed the first year. Each days line up has been obviously strategically planned out well. Headlining the first day is Korn a band one can never get weary of. Support Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Ministry, Halestorm, Of Mice & Men, Scott Weiland and The Wild Abouts, Queensryche, Hollywood Undead, Suicidal Tendencies, Testament, The Devil Wears Prada, Periphery, Fozzy, Exodus, Non Point, Like A Storm, Upon a Burning body, Bear Tooth, Red Rising Sun and World Gone.

If you're not completely exhausted by the first days lineup and still able to hear, day 2 is just as amazing. Headlining the second night is the one and only Slipknot, the men in the masks, performing only as Slipknot can crazy, wild, and totally out of control. Supporting them is Godsmack which will give it 1000HP as they always do, Godsmack feeds off the crowd and performs better the more the crowd goes crazy. So prepare to bring it if you want Godsmack too do the same. The one and only Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators will be rocking the park along with  Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, The Pretty Reckless, In This Moment, Starset, In Flames, Motionless In White, Tremonti, Hatebreed, All That Remains, Butcher Babies, Vamps, Young Guns, We Are Harlot, ‘68, Islander, From Ashes To New, and Sons Of Texas. This is one of the first festivals of the year, one hell of a lineup and a great way to kick off the spring festival season. You have plenty of time to get your tickets, load a van of your best concert buddies, pitch in  some gas money and make it a road trip.
